ResumoThe recent historical and literary interest for autobiographies, memories, diaries and other self-referential texts is shown, among other aspects, by the growing publishing of works on their classification, cataloguing and analysis. In this paper it is intended to establish a provisory tipology of those texts that offer an historical-educational interest (memories and diaries of chilhood, teenage and youth, journeys, educators, teachers and pupils, and of administrative and institutional ones) as well as some suggestions on their uses in this historiographical field.
