Thus, histoplasmosis,1-5a cryptococcosis,2, 6 coccidioidomycosis,7, 8 and North American blastomycosis9-11 have been found to involve the adrenals. In some cases the clinical picture of Addison's disease has been produced.South American blastomycosis is a systemic fungus disease, the visceral lesions of which frequently appear in the adrenals at autopsy. Extensive destruction of the adrenal glands has been reported, but no studies of adrenal function based on adrenocortical stimulation tests had been done ante-mortem. It is the purpose of this paper to report...Bibliography1. ParsonsZarafonetis RJCJ: Histoplasmosis in man. Arch. Intern. Med. 75: 1, 1945. CrossrefGoogle Scholar2.
