ResumoThe author reflects on data sharing, which is empirical research data that is made available to the research community so that others can perform their own analyses and build upon further research. He presents an except from the book Surely you’re joking, Mr Feynman?, by Richard Feynman on scientific integrity, argues that data sharing is an extension of open access, and discusses issues related to the permanence of data sets.
