Este trabalho descreve a experiencia de um Programa de Educacao baseado em celulas cooperativas (Prece), no interior do Estado do Ceara, desde sua fundacao (1994) ate os dias atuais. O Programa esta baseado no estudo em grupos, compartilhando conhecimentos e socializando experiencias, onde os estudantes atuam como protagonistas, em uma iniciativa de cidadania e transformacao social. Atualmente, a estrutura metodologica do Prece compreende oito nucleos de trabalho e varias celulas distribuidas nos municipios de Pentecoste, Apuiares e Paramoti. Abstract: This work describes the experience obtained from the Education Program in cell cooperation (Prece), at the countryside of Ceara State, Brazil, since its foundation (1994) until nowadays. The program is based on the study in groups, sharing knowledge and socializing the experiences and expertise, with al the education activities achieved by the students themselves as protagonists, in an initiative of citizenship and social transformation. Nowadays, the methodological structure of the Prece understands eight nuclei of work and several cells distributed in Pentecoste, Apuiares and Paramoti.
