The implantation of the Complexo Industrial Ford Nordeste in Cama¸cari, located in the Metropolitan Area of Salvador, Bahia, Northeast of Brazil, was surrounded by intransigent debates in several fronts, above all, in relation to the concession of tax incentives and to the impacts on the local economy. However, among the several studies of the cluster accomplished up to the present date, none is founded in the use of the input-output analysis. The present study aims to generate quantifications of some of their direct and indirect impacts upon the production, the job, the income, the export, of Bahia state economy, through the construction of a matrix of intersectorial relationships of the Bahian industry, containing information’s of the Complexo collected by means of a field research.
