ResumoAbstract Electrical properties of ferroelectric Pb0.6Sr0.4TiO3 films with La0.5Sr0.5CoO3/Pt and La0.5Sr0.5MnO3/Pt electrodes prepared by the pulsed laser deposition technique were studied in the present work. The experimental results suggest that the PSrT films on La0.5Sr0.5MnO3/Pt electrodes show several superior properties to those on La0.5Sr0.5MnO3/Pt, namely, the larger magnitude of remanent polarization and the higher dielectric constants. Furthermore, the remanent polarization increased and the coercive field shows much slower increasing rate for La0.5Sr0.5MnO3 as bottom electrode after the application of an electric field of 400 kV/cm for 1×1010 switching cycles. The La0.5Sr0.5MnO3/Pt electrode has been shown to enhance the ferroelectric and fatigue properties of Pb0.6Sr0.4TiO3 thin films.
