ResumoPyogenic granuloma (PG) is a common, usually solitary, benign, angiomatous proliferation of skin and mucous membrane, which exceptionally develops within a port-wine stain. We report two cases of port-wine stain with an overlying PG. Our cases differ from previously reported patients in term of the size and the clinical characteristics, evocative of malignant tumour. The lesions were surgically resected, without recurrence. Because of their alarming clinical presentation, the benign and self limiting nature of this lesion must be emphasised.
