O trabalho se propoe a discutir relacoes entre o romance Lavoura arcaica, de Raduan Nassar, e a implantacao social do autoritarismo no Brasil, levando em conta a formacao de despotismos em diversos niveis. Embasam primariamente a discussao proposicoes de Theodor W. Adorno em “Posicao do Narrador Contemporâneo”, bem como de Paulo Sergio Pinheiro em “Autoritarismo e Transicao”. THE MICRODESPOTISM OF LAVOURA ARCAICA The paper intends to discuss relations between Raduan Nassar´s novel Lavoura arcaica, and the social implantation of the authoritarianism in Brazil, taking into account the forming of despotism in several levels. The discussion is mainly founded on Theodor W. Adorno´s propositions in “The Position of the Narrator in the Contemporary Novel”, and in Paulo Sergio Pinheiro´s “Autoritarismo e transicao” (“Authoritarism and Transition”).
