ResumoPlanning of terracing systems using Terraco 3.0 software. Terracing is a conservation system of mechanical character, whose the implantation involves the movement of the soil, by means of the cut and filled-in, aiming at the control of rain the superficial water draining. It was aimed to create and to implant a system of contour terrace and terrace with gradient in the field with and without soil preparation, being used Terraco 3.0 software. The watershed is situated in Vicosa, Brazil, with an area of 3.99 ha, not presenting a river. The watershed was busy with grass and a soil cover of the 50%. It had an average declivity of 56% and it did not present vestiges of the erosion. The relative parameters to the soil, the use and the manipulation and the profile of ground had been raised. The number of the terrace was not modified by the type of terrace, contour and gradient terrace. Already the preparation of the modified the number of terraces. The area that received preparation from the ground presented 20 terraces and the area that did not receive preparation presented 12 terraces. Software is an efficient tool to create and to implant terraces beyond simulating different systems of terrace and preparation of the soil.
