In sixteen cases encountered over a period of four years, enophthalmos, ptosis, and narrowing of the palpebral fissure were present without exception; and miosis was present in all except one case. Hypotony was present in over a third of the cases, heterochromia in two cases. The etiology of the sympathetic paralysis was determined in only one case, in which it was syringomyelia.
