ResumoThis work comes from results obtained in my doctoral thesis, which investigates the possibilities of learning reasoning and/or historical ideas constructed by subjects/players in a digital game with a historical theme.And for this purpose take, specifically, the game Age of Empires III and the players, youths aged 14 to 18 years.In this particular article, I will stick to the historical operations of reasoning used by the players surveyed, particularly those related to the understanding of historical concepts and the historical imagination in learning.We intend, with this work, provide theoretical and empirical history teachers so they understand the impact of video games in contemporary youth and, thereafter, develop teaching strategies and learning historical school.
