Aprendizado por expansao na pratica: em busca de uma reconceituacao a partir da teoria da atividade O artigo apresenta o relato de um estudo de intervencao, conduzindo no campo multi-organizacional de assistencia medica a criancas na regiao de Helsinki – Finlândia. Tal intervencao embasou-se na teoria da atividade, que fundamenta os processos de aprendizagem por expansao, que o trabalho se propoe a ilustrar. Antes de apresentar a teoria da aprendizagem por expansao, descreve-se a evolucao e os cinco principios principais da teoria da atividade. As respostas oferecidas pela teoria da aprendizagem por expansao para os problemas enfrentados pelos servicos de assistencia medica a criancas sao construidas a partir de uma matriz que cruza esses cinco principios com as quatro perguntas fundamentais que qualquer teoria de aprendizagem deve ser capaz de responder. Expansive Learning at Work: Toward an activity-theoretical reconceptualization Abstract : The paper presents the account of an intervention study, carried out in the field of the multi-organizational infant medical service in the region of Helsinki- Finland. Such intervention was based on activity theory, which constitutes the basis of the learning by expansion process, that this paper aims at illustrating. Before presenting the theory of learning by expansion, the evolution and the five main principles of activity theory are described. The answers provided by the learning by expansion theory to the problems faced by the infant medical services are built from a matrix that interrelates these five principles and the four fundamental questions that any learning theory should be able to answer.
