Resumo

A morphological description of the solar photosphere, chromosphere and the corona is presented from a complete sequence of visual and spectroscopic observations made in Honduras (Amapala), during the total solar eclipse of 11 July 1991 and from the analysis of some emission and absorption lines at all the eclipse phases. Also, a comparison of detected total flux of muons incident over Tegucigalpa (Honduras) the day of the solar eclipse with data obtained years before is presented along with an analysis of the measurements of the total geomagnetic field done in Amapala (Honduras), before and on 11 July, in order to detect any change associated to the event of the solar eclipse.
