ResumoThe DC magnetic susceptibility χ was measured for sintered YBa 2 Cu 3 O y from 77 K to 800∼900 K in heating “up” and cooling “down” processes. After subtracting the contribution of isolated Cu spins, the χ of the “down” process, in which y ∼6, showed a rapid decrease as temperature decreased at about 300 K ( T 0 ), and this χ behavior proved the existence of long-range antiferromagnetic ordering below T 0 in y ∼6 system.
