ResumoLanthony's Tritan Album, together with the Farnsworth's Panel D-15 Test and the Standard Pseudoisochromatic Plates Part 2 for Acquired Color Vision Defects (SPP-2), was used to test the color vision of 100 normal eyes and 295 eyes with acquired disorders. Blue-yellow defects were detected in only 35.9% of all affected eyes and 39.6% of eyes wiyh central serious chorioretinopathy with the Tritan Album alone, so that its sensitivity was not satisfactory. Inconsistent results, for example, responding correctly to plate 2 and/or 3 and failing 1, were frequently observed. Still, this test has the advantages of being simple and easy to administer, and deserves to be part of the test battery. If we adopt as the score the number of 'yes' or 'no' responses in the five test plates, the results can be interpreted more consistently, and the rate of detection increases to 52.9% of all affected eyes. As for the design of the plates, if the number of dots in both the background and figure squares were increased by about 50%, the figure should appear more stable, resulting in fewer inconsistent responses.
