ResumoThis chapter presents a method, based on the adjacent simplex technique discovered and initially developed by Scarf, for approximating an equilibrium point of a noncooperative N-person game. The method also takes advantage of the observations of Wilson and Rosenmüller and their use of almost-complementary path. One may consider the method as a way of rendering the formulation of Wilson–Rosenmüller computable. The chapter discusses the gradual development of adjacent simplex technique.
