ResumoThe proximity of vascular, neural, osseous, and muscular structures make gunshot wounds to the shoulder area particularly challenging. This review focuses on the epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of these injuries. Special attention is given to the usefulness of vascular and electrodiagnostic studies.
