ResumoABSTRACT – This reading will deal with the way Milton Hatoum explores aspects of memory through a crossing of voices, in his three novels – Relatos de um certo oriente, Dois Irmaos and Cinzas do norte. The complex profile of the characters is constructed in the fusion of reports, letters and depositions, alternating individual and collective aspects by means of memory.
