ResumoEste artículo aborda la comprensión de los diversos discursos que se han elaborado sobre la cultura organizacional tantoen su visión positivista concebida como variable, cuanto en su visión semiótica entendida como metáfora raíz. Se distinguenestas dos miradas para contraponer el paradigma funcionalista con el simbólico-interpretativo de la teoría organizacional.Por otra parte se hace mención de los modelos sobre cultura organizacional de Hatch y Schein, que han sido demayor divulgación. AbstractThis article discusses the understanding of various speeches which have been developed about organizational culture both froma positivist outlook in which it is conceived as a variable, as well as in its semiotic vision in which it is understood as a metaphor.These two perspectives are distinguished to contrast the functionalist with the symbolic-interpretative paradigm of organizationaltheory. On the other hand mention is made of the models on organizational culture of Hatch and Schein, who have beensubject to widespread analysis.
