ResumoThis month`s Get the Lead Out presents a brief overview of the purpose and function of the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, an independent agency created to issue legal decisions in cases contesting the Occupational Safety and Health Administration`s (OSHA`s) findings. The cases presented do not deal with this column`s main topic of concern, the Lead Exposure in Construction regulation, but they illustrate the types of decisions the Review Commission has made. Similar decisions presumably would be likely for the lead standard.
