Este articulo analiza a grandes rasgos y en sus aspectos fundamentales las transformaciones del capitalismo mundial acaecidas a partir del derrumbe del Estado del Bienestar y la forma como las mismas han afectado la conceptualizacion y praxis de las politicas publicas, tal como acontece en el caso del papel actual del Estado en la regulacion de la educacion publica. Para dar cuenta de lo anterior, el presente articulo se encuentra dividido en cinco partes principales. La primera da cuenta de la caida del Estado del Bienestar como contexto de partida del conjunto de transformaciones posteriores. La segunda analiza el papel del capital financiero internacional dentro de esos cambios al asumir este un rol hegemonico en la definicion del papel del Estado. La tercera parte analiza los profundos cambios sucedidos en la teoria macroeconomica que dieron al traste con el keynesianismo e hicieron surgir una macroeconomia renovada y construida a partir de os principios microeconomicos de la escuela neoclasica. El cuarto capitulo explica la interrelacion existente entre las variaciones estructurales del capitalismo y la escuela o teoria neoinstitucional y la forma como esta hace extensiva a todo el conjunto de la sociedad los principios economicistas triunfantes desde los anos setenta del siglo pasado. Por ultimo, la quinta parte de este articulo trata de contextualizar, a manera de ejemplo de lo senalado en el mismo, las consecuencias y relaciones de estas transformaciones con las actuales politicas publicas en educacion. Abstract This article in broad strokes analyzes and in its fundamental aspects the transformations of world-wide Capitalism happened from the landslide of the State of the Well-being and the form since the same have affected the planning and praxis of the public policies, as it occurs in the case of the present paper of the State in the regulation of the public education. In order to give account of the previous thing, the present article is divided in five main parts. First it gives account of the fall of the State of the Well-being like departure context of the set of later transformations. Second this one analyzes the paper of international the financial capital within those changes when assuming a hegemonic roll in the definition of the paper of the State. The third part analyzes the deep changes happened in the macroeconomic theory that they ruined the keynesianismo and made arise a macroeconomics renewed and constructed from you microeconomic principles from the neoclassic school. The fourth chapter explains the existing interrelation between the structural variations of Capitalism and the school or neoinstitutional theory and the form since this one makes to all the set of the society the triumphant economicistas principles extensive from the Seventies of the past century. Finally, the fifth part of this article tries to contextualise, to way of example of the indicated thing in the same, the consequences and relations of these transformations with the present public policies in education.
