Resumo: Este trabalho apresenta a arquitetura do Modelo do Aluno (Learner Model) proposto na elaboracao do sistema AUXILIAR. O Modelo do Aluno fornece um formato adequado para representar o conhecimento sobre o aluno, dentro de modulos de instrucao em cursos online na area de Engenharia. Neste contexto, o sistema AUXILIAR visa potencializar a acao do professor na conducao de cursos nesta modalidade. Para atingir tais objetivos, a modelagem baseia-se nos conceitos existentes na abordagem de Inteligencia Artificial, conhecida como Raciocinio Baseado em Casos. Assim, sera apresentado o formato do Caso, a estruturacao da Base de Casos, bem como o mecanismo de recuperacao que foi desenvolvido. Abstract: This paper presents the architecture of the Learner Model proposed in the AUXILIAR system. The Learner Model provide an appropriate format to represent the knowledge about the learner , in instruction modules of online courses in the Engineering Area. In this context, the AUXILIAR system seeks increase the potentiality of the teacher's action in the conduction of online courses. To reach this objectives, the modeling is based on the existent concepts in the Artificial Intelligence approach, known as Case-Based Reasoning. Thereby, will be presented the format of the Case, the structure of the Cases Baseline as well the recovery mechanism that was developed.
