Resumo

O objetivo deste artigo e analisar a criacao do Banco Asiatico de Investimento em Infraestrutura por parte do governo chines. Mais do que uma organizacao internacional, o argumento proposto e que o AIIB revela a configuracao de uma nova arquitetura geoeconomica e financeira. Esta, por sua vez, deve ser entendida como parte do renascimento da Asia, da ascensao chinesa e da emergencia de um mundo multipolar. The objective of this paper is to analyze the creation of the Asian Investment Bank Infrastructure by the Chinese government. More than an international organization, the proposed argument is that AIIB shows the configuration of a new geo-economic and financial architecture. This, in turn, must be understood as part of the renaissance of Asia, China’s rise and the emergence of a multipolar world.
