Resumo

The research summarized in this article sought to verify if the curriculum of Journalism courses reproduces the contemporary scenery that chooses quick images as privileged communication tools, and how these courses have dealt with the teaching of narrative texts written in our context of imagetic hypertrophy. Three journalism courses of Sao Paulo state were taken as study objects: Faculdade Casper Libero, Universidade de Sao Paulo and Centro Universitario Adventista de Sao Paulo. The approach was: 1) a study of the curriculum and teaching plans of the chosen courses; 2) analysis of the laboratory possibilities related to the courses, in which students can improve journalistic texts; 3) analysis of the course conclusion works done in the last years; and 4) study of the influence of the entrance exams related to the topic.
