ResumoThe thematic of health promotion comes being argued with sufficient attention in the last decades, in a search to surpass the effective biomedical paradigm until then. Associated to such question, other concepts of extreme importance emerge in what says respect to promote health. They are quality of life and resilience, that aim at to favor the healthful aspects of the citizen and groups as well as one consequent improvement in the conditions of health of the same ones, being this process responsibility of the State and of the civil society. For such, this present study presents a revision of literature, searching a theoretical and empirical joint between the concepts of health promotion, quality of life and resilience. Finally, it points to the necessity of more researches and studies concerning these subjects and to the necessity to implement them in the practical one.
