This study analyzes the results of a survey applied to the inhabitants of the Curepto and Hualañé communities post-earthquake 2010. The results report that a group of elderly people, over 60 years old, live under vulnerable conditions, however, at the same time, they are an important resource for the reconstruction of their community.
