Resumo

The neutron time-of-flight measurements on the superconducting oxide YBa2(Cu0.88Fe0.12)3O7 (Tc = 32 K) reveal that the dynamics of iron spins are akin to those observed in archetypal spin glasses with a transition to the spin glass state occurring at about 40 K. The persistence of superconductivity in spite of the noncollinear magnetic ordering of iron spins implies little interaction between the superconducting and magnetic "lattices".
