Resumo: Investigar a representação dos sodomitas nas cantigas escarninhas de Estêvão da Guarda (1299-1362), considerando o que prescrevem Las siete partidas, de Alfonso X, tanto a respeito dos homens que amam entre si como a respeito do “jugar de palabras”, base jurídica e retórica da sátira galego-portuguesa.Palavras-chave: lírica galego-portuguesa (sátira); sátira galego-portuguesa (poética); Cantigas de escárnio e maldizer; Estêvão da Guarda.Abstract: This paper investigates the sodomite representation in Estêvão da Guarda’s (1299-1362) cantigas, taking into consideration what Alfonso X’s Las siete partidas prescribes about men who have intercourse with other men, and about the “jugar de palabras”, the juridical and rhetorical basis of Galician-Portuguese satire.Keywords: Galician-Portuguese lyrics (satire); Galician-Portuguese satire (poetics); Cantigas de escárnio e maldizer; Estêvão da Guarda.
