ResumoA mathematical model for pulsatile blood flow in a small diameter tube whose walls pulsate is analysed. Blood is modelled as a two layered fluid by considering core fluid as micro-polar covered by a very thin cell free layer of Newtonian fluid. The effects of various parameters on the flow rate and wall shearing stress are computed and discussed.
