The medical literature of recent years contains many references to this disease. The increase in the number of reports on the subject concomitant with the wide usage of sulfonamides has prompted us to review the records of Bellevue Hospital before and after the availability of sulfa therapy.Although information regarding the history of drug ingestion in our cases of periarteritis nodosa is lacking, it is generally agreed that such knowledge is difficult to obtain because many patients often receive the drug unknowingly and also that the...Bibliography1.
