As correntes teoricas que surgiram no pos-Guerra Fria destacaram a relevância das variaveis domesticas no estudo da Teoria das Relacoes Internacionais. Considerando as transformacoes ontologicas ocorridas na disciplina apos 1990, o presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar a importância da democracia no escopo hermeneutico das teorias liberal, critica e construtivista. The theoretical perspectives that have emerged in the post-Cold War emphasized the relevance of the domestic variables in the International Relations Theory study. Considering the ontological changes inside the subdiscipline after 1990, this article aims to analyze the importance of democracy in the hermeneutic scope of the liberal, critical and constructivist theories.
