ResumoAbstract The investigations on the flora of 14 islets belonging to the Tuscan Archipelago: Isola dei Gabbiani, Scoglietto di Portoferraio, Isola dei Topi, Palmaiola, Cerboli, Isole Gemini, Scola, Scarpa, Sparviero, Formica Grande di Grosseto, Argentarola, Isolotto di Porto Ercole, and Formiche di Burano, are presented. Among these, 12, excluding La Scarpa and La Scola, have been recently investigated. For Scoglietto di Portoferraio, Isole Gemini and Formiche di Burano the data are new. The total flora consists of 275 species: 89 are the species that were no longer found, while 49 are new. The actual flora includes 185 species. The most representative families are: Poaceae with 20 species, Asteraceae with 19 species and Fabaceae with 16; these three families make up ca. 24% of the total. The chorological analysis highlights the dominance of the Mediterranean element reaching 60% of the present flora. The biological spectrum shows a high percentage of Therophytes (48%). The eco-biological strategies present a high number of ruderals (49%), while the dissemination types have in the long-distance strategies the highest percentage (circa 80%).
