Logistics is one of tFLOWS AND COUNTER-FLOWS: A CASE STUDY ABOUT LOGISTICS AND ITS APPLICATION ON THE SOCIALENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITYhe functional areas of management and it is gaining more emphasis on managerial practice and in academic research. At the same time organizations begin to aggregate into their corporate strategies environmental responsibility practices to meet demands from the market, the government and from the citizens. This article aims to answer the following question: How can logistics collaborate with social-environmental responsibility strategies of organizations? To do so the methodology of case study was applied in a multinational operation in Brazil. Without intending to generalize, it is concluded by the case analysis that reverse logistics can contribute significantly to the strategy of social and environmental responsibility of organizations, adding value to the company's reputation and improving its performance indicators.
