ResumoCancer patients are known to be immunocompromised and susceptible to infections. We have used bacteriophages matched for specific bacterial isolates, to treat antibiotic-resistant infections in those patients. Cure of infection was achieved in all cases, indicating very high efficacy of bacteriophage therapy.
