ResumoAbstractWriting about music is like writing about dreams—everything. is lost in translation. How do you write about music when music isn't about anything? This essay attempts to answer the question by exploring the connection between music and memory; the specific reincarnatory power of music (in this case Neil Young's 1975 album Tonight's the Night) and the particular kind of nostalgia it evokes.
