ResumoThe case of zero derivation, or conversion, in the Portuguese language is being interpreted in our grammar from an exclusively semantic perspective. This article intends to show that this process of derivation is also caracterized by formal traits and, by examining them, one comes upon the limits of a morphology based only on the isolated word.
