Resumo

FIVE siblings in a family with seven children had a combination of abnormal findings, including constrictive pericarditis, arthritis of large joints, and flexion contracture of the fingers. This familial cluster of pathologic features appears to be a distinct syndrome; we have been unable to find similar cases described in the literature.Case ReportsThe family came from a small village in southern Mexico. The parents denied consanguinity. Similar cases were not known to be present in their community.
