AbstractThis article provides a brief look into the academic resources available that examine Tori Amos’s music. The article begins with a brief biographical and original album overview before moving into the resources that a music librarian might use to assist a popular music scholar. Although Amos has also released numerous cover songs, original B-sides, remixes, compilations, and video recordings, the author of this article chose to emphasize these primarily original albums because she wanted to focus on the most challenging and important aspects of her artistic output. She believes that emphasizing Amos’s original music answers that challenge.
