Resumo

The phases induced in a p-wave Fermi superfluid by magnetic fields and the dipolar interaction have been found by minimizing a Ginzburg-Landau functional. Renormalization group techniques were used to study the effects of fluctuations about the mean-field solutions. At the phase boundaries between the various superfluid phases, the fluctuations make these transitions first order even if they were second order in mean-field approximation. Despite the narrowness of the temperature intervals over which some of the phases are stable and renormalization group effects visible, they should be experimentally observable.
