Resumo

The nuclear transverse relaxations of the different NMR lines in Dy metal are measured and analysed using the combined effect of Suhl-Nakamura (SN) (Nakamura 1958, Suhl 1959) and Walstedt (1967) mechanisms. The non-exponential relaxations are well explained by different relaxation rates of the Sn interaction, due to arbitrary distribution of identical isotopes.
