A second species of the previously monotypic terrestrial potamid crab genus, Terrapotamon Ng, 1986, is described from southern Thailand. The new species, T. palian, can be distinguished from T. abbotti (Rathbun, 1898) by characters in the carapace, exorbital tooth, postorbital cristae, chelipeds, ambulatory legs and male first pleopods, as well as in the form of the frontal, postorbital and suborbital regions.
