ResumoWith this article we pretend to make an incursion on the manorial regime in Portugal during the Early Modern Period, taking as subject the House of Aveiro. Our aim is to present some clues regarding the actual dimension of the jurisdictional powers of the Dukes on their lands, but mostly address their material assets depending on the nature and characteristics of the main centers of goods, by a perspective that offers a global picture of this aristocratic house.
