ResumoDynamics of the photoinduced refractive-index change in glassy As2S3 excited by pulsed light have been studied using a novel transient-grating technique, in which the grating is produced by projecting comb-filter images. Monotonic relaxations in the μs region are observed at room temperature and at 80 K. The results are discussed on the basis of the single-and-double well model proposed for the photodarkening phenomenon.
