Resumo

Abstract The paper deals with two main uncontrolled attitude motion regimes of the orbital stations Salyut-6 and Salyut-7: the single axis gravitational orientation regime and the slow rotation regime. The peculiarities of dynamics and practical applications of these regimes are given. The paper describes integral statistic methods of the determination of passive rotational motion of the stations according to the onboard attitude sensor measurements. The examples of using these methods for the solution of some scientific problems (calculations of the microacceleration at the station, the processing of star photometer indications, etc.) are given. An analysis of dynamic effects revealed through the processing of measurements made during long periods of passive spaceflight is performed.
