ResumoThe interpretation of our experimental results on the high frequency sound velocity and sound absorption in liquid and supercooled liquid water lends support to the existence of a thermodynamic singularity at about 228°K. We determine the respective critical exponents and find them in good agreement with those, whenever available, deduced from other techniques.
