ResumoThis paper surveys the body of research conducted by marketing and strategic management researchers using the PIMS database. Research questions and findings from this research are summarized. A methodological critique is offered, and its overall relevance is evaluated in terms of a recent conceptual framework suggested by Thomas and Tymon (1982).
