ResumoCoracoid impingement has been increasingly recognized as a cause of shoulder pain. Although most decompressive techniques involve open anterior surgery, the arthroscopic treatment of such impingement has only rarely been reported. In this report, the authors describe an intra-articular method of coracoplasty through the rotator interval. This method is easier to perform than a subacromial approach and allows appropriate orientation of the coracoplasty in the plane of the subscapularis tendon.
