Resumo

Upward of 12 million DVD players were sold in the United States last year alone, which made it the fastest growing category in consumer electronics history. But the video and audio formats that are now available have multiplied as well, and few players can play them all. Pioneer Electronics' DV-47A universal player spins both DVD-Audio and Super Audio CD formats, so consumers needn't choose between the two. The box handles five video formats, too, including DVD-Video, DVD-R, and DVD-RW.
