By optimizing the parameters of the driving cell and NH films, the newly developed LCD compensated with two NH films exhibits extremely wide viewing-angle performance. This wide-viewing-angle system can be applied not only to transflective TFT-LCDs but also ordinary transmissive TFT-LCDs. References M. Jisaki and H. Yamaguchi: IDW'01,133 (2001). Google Scholar M.
