ResumoA new species, Solarium diamanti¬ nense, is described and illustrated.It is endemic to Brazil and restricted to the Chapada Diaman¬ tina in the State of Bahia, northeastern Brazil.This species is closely related to the Brazilian Solarium baturitense Huber, from which it differs by its oblaneeolate leal blades, short calyx lobes, anil dense, stalked, glandular-stellate pubes¬ cence.
